Sim Rules
1. CONSENT, CONSENT CONSENT! That is the name of the game, if there is anything you are not sure the other player will be okay with you doing, please privately message them and ask. It won't hurt, and the worst that will happen is they say no.
2. LOGS ARE EVERYTHING!: When it comes to logs we are sticklers about having them. If you ever run into an issue, or have a complaint about another, we will ask for logs, so please have them handy to make sure things run smoothly.
3. NO METAGAMING This is the use of outside or OOC knowledge In character. This also includes transferring information from one alt to another.
4. NO POWERGAMING This is playing your character as a god, never taking a hit, always one-hit killing, things of that sort. In Roleplay, you have some wins, you have some losses, that is part of what makes roleplay fun.
5. NO GOD MODDING This is taking control of another person's character to benefit your own story. This ties in heavily with our first rule of getting consent to do things.
6. NO UNDERAGE AVATARS All characters on sim must be aged 18+. Regardless of lore specific lifespans and age of maturity, all characters are considered adults at 18 and must look the part. Any avatars we deem might be too young looking will be asked to change their avatar or adjust their shape.
7. ATTIRE If you are just looking around the sim, by all means, wear whatever you want. Just wear an observer tag. However, there are a few things I would like to put down before a question is even raised when starting character creation.
-NO FURRIES (If you are unsure, please ask a staff member)
-NO ROBOTS (This excludes War-forged or possessed spiritfolk)
-NO TIME TRAVELERS FROM THE FUTURE
-NO ANTHRO ANIMALS (This excludes Lycanthropes)
-NO ANTHRO DRAGONS (This excludes the dragon hybrid form and Dragonborns)
-NO HISTORICAL CHARACTERS/FIGURES
-NO COPYRIGHTED CHARACTERS
-NO STYLIZED, CARTOONY, or ANIME AVATARS (Utilizator/similar stylized items, or MLP avatars).
-NO FUTURISTIC CLOTHING (Please try your hardest to keep your attire appropriate for a modern fantasy sim based in the current RL year. Please do not wear clothes or attachments that would go beyond the means of what an ordinary person would be able to obtain in the current time we all live in. You can wear clothes from any era predating the current era)
8. PUBLIC NUDITY AND PUBLIC SEX We understand that there are going to be sexual themes on the sim i.e. rape, sex, and other things. However, not everyone is here for that. Please try keep sexual activity indoors and in IM's. We also know certain races tend to be a bit more free with their clothing options than others, but please try to avoid walking around fully nude unless the situation calls for it . It’s cold out here.
9. BE COURTEOUS. We do not want to put anyone down, be mean, or make anyone feel unwelcome here. We want people to express their uniqueness and creativity so please be mindful of that. Also, there is a large diversity of role players here, from one liners, to multi-liners, to paragraph rpers. THAT IS ALL A-OKAY. However, if you find yourself in a situation where you are not one on one, no matter what kind of role player you are, please be respectful and keep to the posting order that will be set in place.
Death: While we maintain the belief that all characters should have a right to life, we also believe that In Character Actions have In Character Consequences and that people should not use consent to avoid said consequences all the time. We trust that characters will be fair in their handling of justice and crime and players will work together to find the best solution to a problem. However, if a character does something grievous enough that warrants death, your character’s life becomes forfeit. If death is the only answer for the situation, please make sure the character dying is the star of that scene. AKA make sure it’s an epic death for that character.
