TITLER GUIDE

Our HUD has both a minimized version and a full version. Once you have the HUD and Titler from the Welcome center, you can Add both to your outfit. They will automatically attach to the HUD Center, and both the minimized version and the full version will hold their position wherever you move them on the screen.

To quickly go over the features of the HUD, it allows you to store up to six different characters (Slot A-F), with name and four lines of additional text, as well as a color from the menu of your choice for each. The HUD will allow you to use /4 to emote (green text), /4x to post with no name, /4w to whisper a post, and /4s to shout a post. Clicking say/no name/etc will bring up a menu in which you can type your posts as well.

You can quickly change status between IC, OOC, AFK, and a hidden titler, and there is a Verifier option as well, which aids in preventing the falsification of dice rolls if you decide to turn it on. Clicking the arrow for Roll Dice will bring up a menu to roll dice privately or publicly, and then will allow you to select to roll anywhere from 1-10 d10. Clicking "Help" will deliver a notecard with further information.

One of the things we get asked the most is what the titler should contain. It is suggested that you include your characters name, and any information about the character that others would be able to determine upon getting close, as well as information that is important to know OOCly. It will also be useful in stating your armed status if you have a weapon on you but do not wish to have an attachment on, and you can also use this to track your HP in combat situations.
